Our upcoming 5K will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024. Join us!
In 2017, the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation held its first annual 5K Run/Walk. It is the Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year, raising funds for safety awareness and violence-prevention initiatives. It attracts both serious and recreational runners and walkers from across the state (and beyond) to Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, MA. The 5K has had over 5,000 participants since its first year!
It’s a fun event. In addition to the 5K race, there is a Kids’ Fun Run and a post-race party including a DJ, food and beverages, raffles, and silent auction. The Foundation is so grateful for the support of its community – participants and sponsors.
Medals are awarded to top finishers.
The course is mostly flat with one short hill.
